that fits your profile.

TT

Top Talent Pass Scheme (A / B / C)

High earners (Cat A), graduates of top-100 global universities (Cat B), or 5 years' experience (Cat C). Dependants may apply together. Processing time is subject to ImmD.

ImmD-led Timing varies by case & policy
QM

Quality Migrant Admission Scheme

General Points Test or Achievement-based Test, across age, education, work, language and family. Renewal pattern 3+3+2; PR eligible after 7 years' continuous ordinary residence.

Points-based 80+ to assess · no guaranteed offer
GE

General Employment Policy

Sponsored by a registered HK employer for skills not readily available locally. Suits those with a confirmed HK offer or internal transfer.

Sponsor required Renewal tied to ongoing employment
ST

Study & Sub-degree Pathways

Enter HK via a degree, master's or sub-degree programme on a student visa; after graduation, apply for the IANG non-local graduate visa — a common starting point for the 7-year PR journey.

DP

Dependant Visa

Once the main applicant is approved, spouse and unmarried children under 18 may apply for a dependant visa to join them in HK and attend school.

RN

Renewal & 7-Year PR Planning

For existing visa holders: renewal paperwork, ordinary-residence record-keeping, avoiding absence pitfalls, and the compliant cadence toward Right of Abode.

Assessment & Application → Schooling Handover →
Renewal & 7-Year PR Planning.

Stage 01

Assessment & Application

A 30-minute consultation covering education, work and family goals; based on current ImmD policy, identify the most suitable pathway (Top Talent / QM / GE / Study). Document prep, notarisation, translation, submission and ongoing case tracking.

Stage 02

Children's Schooling Handover

Aligned with the visa landing timeline — shortlisting local, international or boarding schools; application paperwork and interview scheduling.

Stage 03

Renewal & 7-Year PR Planning

Pre-renewal document review, ordinary-residence record-keeping; as the 7-year mark approaches, prepare Right of Abode filings per current ImmD requirements. Compliant cadence throughout — no outcome is guaranteed.

Visa FAQ

Questions you may have.

General information only — not legal advice. Outcomes depend on the policies and requirements published by ImmD and other authorities at the time of application.

How do I choose between Top Talent, QM and GE?
Each route has different eligibility thresholds, renewal patterns and long-term implications. We offer a 30-minute consultation to map these against your education, work, family and goals, and present 1–2 options with their trade-offs. The final choice is yours.
I was refused before — can you help?
A refusal opens up re-assessment, file strengthening or a switch in pathway. Whether a new filing succeeds depends on ImmD's standards at the time and your updated profile. We start with a 30-minute consultation and then recommend a realistic direction. No outcome is guaranteed.
How long does a Dependant visa take?
Dependants are typically processed alongside the main applicant or queued by ImmD afterwards; the actual timing is set by ImmD. We lodge the dependant application as soon as the main one is approved to minimise document turnaround.
Is the 7-year Right of Abode guaranteed?
Right of Abode requires ImmD's "ordinary residence" test, unbroken visa status, compliance with stay conditions and a filing under the rules in force at the time. We offer a 7-year renewal and PR-planning service: organising ordinary-residence records, flagging absence pitfalls, and pre-reviewing each renewal file. Whether PR is granted remains an ImmD decision.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. We do not guarantee visa approval, renewal or Right of Abode, nor any specific processing time. Every decision is made independently by the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Our role is to prepare documents, follow the process and provide compliant advice based on current policy.
Do you help with children's schooling?
Yes. Aligned with your visa landing timeline, we help shortlist local, international or boarding schools and support applications and interview scheduling. Recommendations are based on family preference, the child's profile and each school's annual admissions criteria.
